Audience participation is strongly recommended when possible and those who attend always leave with practical information they can put to use to improve their lives.

Striving to give his patients the most comprehensive care possible, Dr. Hans attends postgraduate seminars including topics on chiropractic and sports related injuries. Dr Hans is experienced in the treatment of sports injuries, workers comp, and auto accidents.

While attending Life University, Dr. Hans ran his own personal training business, "Fit for Life". His experience as a competitive bodybuilder throughout the years, gave him the skills and knowledge necessary to successfully run his own personal training stidio. Being a competitive bodybuilder taught me a lot about diet, exercise and discipline, which I've been able to carry over into other areas of my life. Now, I'm able to take everything that I've learned throughout my years as a competitive bodybuilder, and tie it in with what I'm doing today.

"It wasn't until 1984 that I was introduced to chiropractic. While training for the Florida Bodybuilding Championships, I injured my back in the gym while training. A friend of mine who worked out there was the gym chiropractor. He suggested that I make an appointment to go see him. I was hesitant at first, but after he explained how chiropractic worked and how he could help me, I decided to go. I'm glad I did, not only did I win my show but it changed my life.

I was treated with various therapies which included moist heat, electrical muscle stimulation, therapeutic ultrasound and given specific exercises to do to help rehabilitate and stabilize the muscles that were injured. Chiropractic adjustments were also an important part of my treatment to remove tight and tender muscles and remove irritation to the nervous system. It didn't take long until I was back in the gym training again. By getting regular chiropractic adjustments my body was able to recuperate faster. It just made sense to me.

Today, over 20 million people a year receive chiropractic care. More and more people are turning to chiropractic care everyday. It remains the #1 choice for alternative health care.

According to an article published in (The Chiropractic Report, May 1990, Vol4., No. 4) Many high performance athletes and their coaches have found that chiropractic plays a major role in three areas of prime concern to all athletes:

1) Maximum musculoskeletal coordination, economy, speed, and strength-to enhance performance.
2) Prevention of injury- avoiding the physical and psychological impact of interruption to training.
3) Managing injury- the fastest possible rehabilitation and, for many, training and competing with minimum inconvenience from the continued effects of former injury.
